Job Responsibilities: - Represents the Company’s interests and be the Company representative in any state authorities, including court, law-enforcement, administrative and also non-state agencies and other organizations during the consideration of legal matters connected to the administrative, banking, customs, insurance, economical and civil relationships;
- Checks the compliance of contracts, agreements with legislation and other legal documents submitted for the signature of the Company officials;
- Elaborates the drafts of agreements, contracts and other legal documents in accordance with corporate standards of the Company and the applicable legislation;
- Prepares responses to the legal letters and requests sent to the Company;
- Leads litigation on behalf of the Company;
- Provides legal opinions, conclusions, responses, objections to the suits, claims and other documents submitted to the Company jointly with other departments of the Company, where relevant;
- Protect the interests of the Company in its relations with insurance companies under the insurance contracts ;
- Timely and in accordance with established requirements shall issue necessary documentation, shall audit and provide safety of documents referred to concluding of insurance agreements;
- Refrain from disclosing to other employees and other people information considered undisclosed or confidential (official and/or commercial secret).
- Submits proposals to Head of Department in order to improve the activity of the Company and Department.
Must know: - Methodical materials relating to the work to be fulfilled;
- Company structure, key personnel of the company and its divisions;
- Placement of structural divisions and individual specialists in the office;
- Security service’s instructions on visitors access to the office of the company;
- Internal labor regulations; etiquette labor regulations
- Means of communication, office equipment and computer, rules of their operation;
- Labour legislation of the RK;
- Regulations and norms of safety arrangements and precautions, industrial sanitary and firefighting safety.
Requirements: - Experience: at least 5 years of professional experience as an in-house lawyer in international oil and gas company or service company.
- Education: Bachelor in Law or International Law/Commercial Law, LLM is preferrable.
- Experience in litigation support and corporate governance.
- Excellent communication skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving
- Stress tolerant, service-oriented attitude
- At least upper-intermediate level of English.
