Building and verification of process simulation models in specialized software (PIPESIM/UNISIM/MySep/HYSIS and etc.) to optimize performance of technological equipment and oil/gas/water production and injection processes.
Perform manual calculations to verify Proof of Concept (PoC) of identified opportunities and quality check of process simulation model results.
Preparation and development of process documentation, procedures, method statements and operating instructions for relevant activities in the field and in the office.
Process Engineer’s main area of focus is optimization of production and reservoir pressure support systems.
Day to day duties may vary according to business needs. The following are typical:
Ensure the highest standard of process safety within the whole production system;
Establish/review and monitor plant safe operating envelopes for oil, water and gas processing streams.
Leading and participation in Root-Cause Analysis (RCA) / Cause-Tree Analysis (CTA) when required
Ensure that all activities are performed in a cost-effective manner.
Maintain focus on technical excellence and innovation.
Support collaboration and integration across projects, departments and locations and accelerate learning and knowledge sharing.
Ensure that all information, written as well as verbal, concerning the company is treated confidentially.
Knowledge and follow-up on Company Safety Commitments, Rules and Procedures;
Monitoring of plant operating conditions, remote support of troubleshooting activities in the field and identification of improvement opportunities.
Requirements:
Higher professional (technical) education, work experience by specialty no less than 3 years.
English language skills.
Knowledge of International and RoK standards
Experience in process simulation software UniSim/HySys. Experience in other software (MySep, PipeNet, etc.) is an advantage.
Experience in brownfield detailed design activities within the oil and gas industry.
Experience in P&ID, PFD, H&MB development.
Knowledge of line sizing, PSVs sizing/rating, Control valves sizing/rating
Understanding of safety studies like HAZOP/HAZID/LOPA/SIL
