Job Duties:

• Develop and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency of water injection processes.
• Maintain adherence to regulatory, safety, and environmental standards.
• Identify and integrate new technologies to improve water injection practices.
• Proactively address risks related to water quality and equipment to ensure operational integrity.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution of water injection activities.
• Prepare and present reports with actionable recommendations for senior management.
• Train and support team members to enhance skills and ensure best practices.

Responsibilities:

Strategy Development and Implementation: Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for effective water injection management. This includes creating procedures and best practices to maximize efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure optimal reservoir performance.

Process Optimization: Analyze current water injection processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Utilize data and insights to optimize injection techniques, enhance performance, and address any operational inefficiencies.

Risk Management: Evaluate and manage risks associated with water injection operations, including monitoring water quality and preventing equipment failures. Develop and enforce risk mitigation strategies to safeguard operational integrity.

Technology Integration: Conduct research and assess new technologies and methods related to water injection. Recommend and implement innovative solutions to improve process effectiveness and support technological advancement in the field.

Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless integration of water injection activities with overall operational goals. Facilitate communication and coordination to address interdisciplinary challenges and achieve unified objectives.

Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed reports and analyses on water injection operations. Provide actionable recommendations and insights to senior management based on performance metrics and operational data.

Training and Support: Provide guidance and training to team members and other staff involved in water injection processes. Share expertise and best practices to enhance team capabilities and ensure consistent application of procedures.

Compliance: Ensure all water injection activities comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and environmental guidelines. Stay updated on regulatory changes and incorporate them into operational practices as needed.

Qualification requirements:

• Formal Education (Diplomas): Engineering graduate or equivalent work experience (typically 25 years).

• Professional experience (in years): a minimum of 10-year previous experience in several positions within the oil & gas industry (typically production, maintenance, project, process)

• Required skills: Excellent technical background to be able to participate actively in the evaluation of operational issues and their possible solutions, autonomous and able to operate in a highly transverse situation, rigorous approach to problem solving and project control, good communication and negotiation skills

• Leadership, communication, coordination, corporation - Sense of priorities - Self-motivated organization abilities - Creativity and innovative enhancement - Supervisory expertise

• Knowledge of the English language

• MS Office skills
